Alex was born and raised in Miami Beach, Florida. From a young age, Alex was always interested in real estate. He naturally gravitated towards it. While in his first year at University, Alex became licensed as a real estate agent in the State of Florida. From then, Alex dove into the industry and began learning everything he could about it. From the financial side to the construction side, he quickly sharpened his toolbox which would later serve him very well. During this first 3 years, he served as a real estate agent and would represent buyers/sellers in transactions. At age 22, Alex purchased his first property which was a 6-unit building in Little River. He was able to re-stabilize the entire building in less than 45 days and successfully exited the investment only 75 days later. From then, Duex Capital Group was born and Alex’s main focus became the investment side of the business. Since then, Alex has been involved in over $250 million dollars’ worth of real estate transactions. From the beginning, Alex realized how inefficient the sales process was for property owners who needed to sell quickly. As an agent, he experienced this when representing his clients. Buyers would cancel contracts for an array of reasons, they wouldn’t qualify for financing after 75 days, and so many other obstacles that stopped the sellers from achieving their goals.
